Yes! All of our meals are 100% whole food plant-based. This means we do not use any animal products in our food. Most of our meals are gluten free, and will be labeled as such (GF).
Our meals are made with fresh ingredients, every week, and delivered to you fresh!
Our meals are good for 3-5 days in proper refrigeration. If you order meals for the week, we often recommend freezing half of your weeks meals when you first receive you delivery. Then simply take them out of the freezer on Tuesday, and allow them to thaw in your refrigerator.
Yes! you can. We recommend that you freeze them within 2 days of receiving your order, to maximize freshness. Take your meals out of the freezer the day before you plan on eating them, and thaw them out in your refrigerator. This is a great way of preserving your meals longer!
Yes! Most of our meals are gluten free. All of our meals will have 2 letters at the end of them (GF), indicating that they are gluten free.
This is a common question! We have learned from some great chefs and doctors! We have learned to saute and cook all food that once required oil, with vegetable broth or water! We also use parchment paper to prevent sticking.
This is one of the most common questions we are asked! Plants, legumes and whole grains are filled with plant protein! If you are eating a wide variety of fruits, veggies, legumes and whole grains, you will have all of the protein that you need!
We do offer gift cards! If you’d like to purchase a gift card, please call 585-230-8942. We will create a customized electronic gift card. To place an order greater than the value of the gift card, the recipient will simply type the customized gift code on the card into the promo code box on the website. If the recipient wants to place an order for less than the full amount of the gift card, they should call 585-230-8942 - we will deduct the amount of the order from the card and manually run the order!
We strive to put up the ingredients in each meal as early as we can every week, but because we regularly put new recipes on the menu, we are often still finalizing them early in the ordering week, making it difficult to put up the information right away. Please reach out to us at 585-230-8942 with any questions about ingredients or nutrition information - we are happy to answer them!
We are located at 777 Culver Rd. in Rochester, NY. We are in the kitchen Monday-Friday 9-4. However, if you'd like to set up a meeting, please call ahead.
We work very hard to make sure that everyone can receive the meals that they order when they are able. If you have any issues with the delivery time, please message us and we will try our hardest to accommodate you. If you will not be home, we recommend leaving a cooler out, that the delivery person can put your food in, until you arrive home. We do not use any kind of preservatives and our food is made fresh each week, so do keep in mind that the longer your food is out of proper refrigeration, the greater the risk of early spoilage.
If you do happen to forget to pick up your meals, you can come in Monday-Friday 9-4 to pick up your order. We do not offer refund or credit for orders that are left or forgotten.
You can pick up your weekly order on Saturday from 10 AM-3 PM at 777 Culver Road, or have it delivered on Saturday from 10 AM and 3 PM anywhere in Monroe County. Weekly pickup at the Sands Cancer Center is on Mondays from 4:30 PM-6 PM. Pickup hours for Buffalo will be announced soon!
We deliver anywhere in Monroe County during our regular Saturday deliveries (for only $5!). Weekly pickup at the Sands Cancer Center is from 4:30-6 PM on Mondays.
Delivery on Saturdays to any address in Monroe County is $5, regardless of the size of your order. Deliveries to the Sands Cancer Center in Canandaigua are free (you’ll have to pick them up from Sands on Mondays between 4:30 and 6) - just type Sands in the promo code box at checkout!
We don't currently ship - hopefully someday soon! We currently only deliver in the Western, NY area (Rochester, Canandaigua, and, starting on 4/20, Buffalo).
Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate requests for deliveries at a specific time during the delivery window. We recommend that customers who will not be home for the entire delivery window leave a cooler outside along with instructions for where to place the food.
Starting with our menu for pickup/delivery 4/20, we will be offering subscriptions!
Each menu is split up into item “categories.” Each menu includes one item from each of the following categories: breakfast muffin, sweet breakfast item, savory breakfast item (i.e. quiches, savory breakfast bowls, etc.), lasagna, burger, loaf, tofu bowl/power bowl, pasta/rice noodle dish, chili/stew, surprise item (the surprise item will be a rotating “special” that does not fit into one of the categories), soup, small grain bowl, dessert cookie, and dessert cake/brownie. Customers who would like a weekly subscription will select however many items of each item category they would like to receive each week in the “weekly recurring items” section of the menu (below the regular weekly menu items). Then, each week, customers will receive the rotating menu items for the categories they selected (for example, if a customer orders 6 muffins, 2 lasagna, and 2 burgers for delivery each week, they will receive the 6 of the muffin, 2 of the lasagna, and 2 of the burger on that week’s rotating menu). Subscription items will be slightly discounted from the regular menu item price.
Unfortunately, as we cook all of our weekly meals in large batches, we cannot accommodate requests for customizations or ingredient substitutions on individual orders.
If you are missing a meal or receive an incorrect meal, please call us at 585-230-8942 - we’ll make it right! We’ll either arrange for you to receive the correct meal or give you a refund on the incorrect meal(s) and a credit on your next order!
We always want you to be satisfied with your order! If there’s an error with your order or you’re otherwise unsatisfied with your order, contact us at 585-230-8942 - we’ll help you troubleshoot your issue or give you a substitution you’re happy with. If we can’t find another fully satisfactory solution, we’re happy to fully refund the unsatisfactory items. Refunds will appear within 5-10 business days of processing.
